Privacy policy

Effective October 7, 2026 · Last updated October 7, 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

ORICIN LLC operates the Oricin website at oricin.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website or contact us about Oricin. ORICIN LLC is responsible for the personal information described here.

Oricin is in development. This website presents the product and its roadmap; it does not currently offer accounts, payments, hosted inboxes, SMS verification, or phone services. Before those services become available, we will provide the relevant privacy information and terms. This policy does not describe the processing of messages or calls through a live Oricin service.

2. Information we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if included, your message, attachments, and any other information you choose to share. This may include your company, role, and product requirements. Contact buttons open your email app; clicking a button does not send a message or add you to a mailing list.

Website request information. Serving and protecting the website involves processing technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or device information, and referring page when your browser provides it. Our hosting infrastructure may record this information in access or security logs. The information recorded and how long it is kept depend on the hosting configuration.

Browser preferences. The website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. This preference is used on your device and is not submitted to us as a profile.

Please do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information in an inquiry.

3. How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond to you, discuss your requirements, and manage the conversation about Oricin or early access. We use technical request information to deliver the website, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security. We may also retain or use information when necessary to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure website and responding to business inquiries, taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or meeting legal obligations, as appropriate. If we rely on consent for a particular activity, you can withdraw it by contacting us.

This website does not use personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

The website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, load analytics services, or include advertising pixels. It uses local storage for the theme preference described above. You can remove that preference through your browser's site-data settings; the website will then return to its default theme.

We do not track visitors across other websites. Browser signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control do not change the current website behavior because it does not conduct cross-site advertising tracking or sell or share information for targeted advertising.

5. When information is shared

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Hosting and email providers process information needed to serve the website and deliver our correspondence. Other service providers may process information as needed to support these activities.

We may disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of the website. If the business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

6. Retention and security

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond, manage an ongoing business relationship, and meet any applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the purpose of the correspondence and whether it is still needed. Technical log retention depends on the hosting configuration. You can contact us to ask about the retention of information relating to you or request its deletion.

No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. Avoid including sensitive information in ordinary email. If you believe information sent to us has been exposed or misused, contact us using the details below.

7. International processing

ORICIN LLC is based in the United States, and our founder works from Turkey. Website operations and correspondence may therefore involve accessing or processing information in those countries and in countries where our hosting or email providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply to our handling of the information.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email [email protected] and describe what you need. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity before releasing or changing personal information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any limits or exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

9. Children and external websites

This website is intended for adults building or evaluating software for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Our LinkedIn and X links take you to external websites. We do not embed their tracking scripts here. Once you follow a link, that website's privacy policy governs its handling of your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our website or information practices change and revise the date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. New forms, analytics, or product services will need appropriate disclosures before they are introduced.
